Help to strengthen communities through the power of applied research. Interdisciplinary Research Leaders is looking for teams of researchers and community partners dedicated to advancing health and equity.

If that’s you, join us February 8, 2017 (2-3pm CT) for the 2018 Interdisciplinary Research Leaders potential applicant webinar.

This three-year national leadership development program includes an advanced curriculum, professional mentoring and the opportunity to collaborate with people from many sectors and professions across the country. The research themes for the 2018 Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Call for Applications both focus on rural health. They are:

  • Solutions for better health care delivery in rural America, and
  • Addressing the social and economic determinants to prevent chronic conditions and to promote health, wellbeing, and equity in rural America.

In this webinar you will learn about the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Culture of Health vision, hear an overview of Interdisciplinary Research Leaders (IRL) and the 2018 funding opportunity, and walk through the 2018 IRL application process. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
