Join this nonpartisan lunchtime legislative training series to learn digestible, shareable, and actionable knowledge about our state’s legislative process. This series is co-hosted by the Minnesota Public Health Association, Minnesota Rural Health Association, and Minnesota Oral Health Coalition.
SESSION 2: How a Bill Becomes a Law, Part 1October 15, 2024
Presenter: Dan Murphy, MPP, Director of Government Affairs, Minnesota Dental Association.
Dan is an experienced lobbyist and government relations professional serving on staff at the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA) as Director of Government Affairs. Prior to joining the MDA, Dan served with the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General as an investigator, mediator, and consumer analyst. Dan holds a BA from St. Olaf College and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
