If you are attending APHA 2023, please join fellow Minnesotans at our annual lunch on Monday, November 13 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. EST at Thrive, a restaurant near the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.

MPHA organizes this annual gathering for those at the APHA conference to share meeting tips and meet other Minnesotans who are passionate about public health! All are welcome to attend to learn more about MPHA and APHA.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of your lunch. We kindly request you bring cash or can Venmo, as the restaurant requires one bill for our party.

• The Council of Affiliates Award Reception will be held on Saturday November 11 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Georgia World Congress Center, Room A411. The reception provides an opportunity to meet with affiliate members from other states as well as honor award recipients. Tickets can be added to your registration (under "Pre-Meeting Events" on APHA's conference registration).

• MPHA will have two presentations:

1. Sunday, Nov. 12, 8:00 – 11:00 am ET, Advocacy for Leaders session #2005.0. Please RSVP ahead of time on this form. 
   
   
2. Monday, Nov. 13, 3:15 - 3:30 pm ET, Council of Affiliates Scientific Session #3238.0 "Promoting a healthy inclusive democracy is public health – a Minnesota partnership"
