Training on COVID Messaging, Vaccines, and Faith Communities


Attention MPHA Community:


Are you working to provide information about the benefits of vaccination against COVID in partnership with faith communities? You may be interested in this online training, “Rooted in Faith & Community: Messaging for Leaders to Advance Health Equity” next Wednesday, January 27 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM CST.

Presenters include Gary Gunderson of Wake Forest Baptist Health, a national thought leader on faith-based health, and Gene Matthews and Dawn Hunter, attorneys from the Network for Public Health Law.Participants will learn to become better advocates by understanding which foundational moral values resonate with us and how to recognize, appreciate, and learn to speak to other people's values.

The training is sponsored by Eastside Health and Well-Being Collaborative (St Paul, Minnesota), MHealth Fairview, and the Network for Public Health Law.
