The Minnesota Society for Public Health Education (MN SOPHE) is looking for a Student Representative to fill the vacant role from January 1st, 2021 – December 31st, 2021. This role will provide experience for the student to volunteer in a leadership position to promote health education and health promotion in Minnesota. The Student Representative Description:
A. Provide student perspective to chapter activities.
B. Serve as a resource to Minnesota’s public/community health students from all state public and private higher education institutions that offer a course of study in health education, promotion, community health or public health.
C. Serve as a resource and connection to SOPHE’s Student Representative Committee.
D. Develop (with Membership input) a strategic plan for chapter for upcoming year.
E. Engage in special projects or activities as requested by the Executive Committee and approved by the Board of Officers.
F. Serve as Chair of the Student Member Committee.
G. Student Representative must be a member of MNSOPHE or become a member at the time of their appointment.
