APHA has partnered with the All of Us Research Program at NIH to build one of the largest biomedical data resources of its kind, and put it in the hands of the most diverse group of researchers. Minority researchers are encouraged to join APHA and All of Us at 4 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 20, to learn about the All of Us program and Research Hub, how to access it and how to start using the data. You can learn more about the Research Hub here: https://www.researchallofus.org.
RSVP today and join us on May 20!
Note: This is going to be a great opportunity for public health students, early career professionals, and folks underrepresented in the research community to access a really diverse pool of data. This is also the start of APHA's work with All of Us on the research side of things: In June we'll be scheduling a couple of trainings to learn one of the languages required to use the Research Hub, and by the end of June we'll have the call out for the next round of Affiliate funding opportunities, which are also going to be research-based this time around (details to come!). The May 20 webinar is a great intro to all of these opportunities. I hope you'll encourage your members to join in!
