Screen Free Week, May 3-9, is an annual invitation to screen less and live more and is celebrated around the world. Thousands of families, schools and communities seek ways to replace screen time with intentional family time, playtime, and outdoor activities.
During the week, LiveMore ScreenLess will be promoting the benefits of time spent off digital media as well as be drawing attention to the Digital Wellbeing bill (SF 1012 | HF 1836) that is in the senate's omnibus bill. This bill supports promoting Digital Wellbeing for all Minnesota students, parents and teachers through four strategies - development of an online resource hub, a statewide communications campaign, professional development/training for educators, and peer education training for young people.
