November 20, 2026…Beyond Behind Bars: Cultivating Lasting Change
Come hear from local and statewide experts as they share programs and strategies for those who are incarcerated to transition back into life beyond correctional facilities. This forum will highlight innovative community initiatives and strategies around Minnesota that have worked in local communities…How are communities working together in creative ways to reduce recidivism, address parenting behind bars, and diminish barriers to health? What public health strategies are being used? What are some unique programs that support families of incarcerated individuals? And how can this work be replicated or modified for success in other communities?
