Advocates for Better Health (ABH) believes there are many ways to advocate for health equity and social justice, and we invite you to find an avenue that ignites your passion into action. For Ricardo Levins Morales, that avenue is art. Ricardo is a Puerto Rican-born, Minnesota-based artist and activist who uses his art to support healing and motivate action. Ricardo describes himself as “a healer-trickster-organizer disguised as an artist," and his wisdom has greatly shaped the ethos of ABH’s Public Health Advocacy Fellowship – a nine-month experiential program for graduate-level health science students and healthcare practitioners.
We are honored to host Ricardo for our first Evening with ABH in 2025. Join us on January 14th at 6:30pm at Open Book Performance Hall for dinner, a presentation, and facilitated discussion with Ricardo. Everyone is welcome to attend! Ticket information can be found at https://www.abhmn.org/evening.
