Listening session at Annex Teen Clinic!
In partnership with Annex Teen Clinic, Allina Health is conducting conversations with parents/caregivers and their middle school-aged youth. Each group will be asked to share their questions, concerns, and resource needs related to substance use among middle schoolers.
We would love for you and your child to join us for conversations with parents and youth on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Annex Teen Clinic in Robbinsdale, MN. Dinner will be provided for all participating families, along with a $50 gift card as a thank you for your time and stories shared. Additionally, prior to the conversations, a high-level, developmentally appropriate substance use education session will be presented by licensed professionals.
Learnings from these conversations will be used to build resources to prevent or delay substance use among youth. This will include expanding and enhancing existing resources offered through Allina Health’s youth-focused community health improvement initiatives, Health Powered Kids and Change to Chill. This works is being conducted as part of an Opioid Epidemic Response Advisory Council (OERAC) grant awarded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).
Location: Annex Teen Clinic, 5810 N 42nd Ave, Robbinsdale, MN 55422.
