We Will Vote Minnesota Launch

Join us on August 15, 2024 to learn about the relationship between voting and community health and the We Will Vote Minnesota, initiative, designed to improve population health by strengthening civic and voter participation across the health sector.

The doors and Zoom open at 11:30 am CT.

The program runs 11:45 am - 1:00 pm CT.

Light refreshments will be served.


This hybrid event is sponsored by Healthy Democracy Healthy People Minnesota Coalition, Advocates for Better Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota, Minnesota Public Health Association, and Minnesota Society of Public Health Education. We Will Vote Minnesota serves as an invitation to partner with public health, health care, philanthropy, non-profit, and community organizations to strengthen voter participation commitments.

The event will feature speakers including Secretary of State Steve SimonDean Melinda Pettigrew, University of Minnesota School of Public Health; Sarah Caflisch of Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota; Catherine Harrison from Minnesota Public Health Association, and more leading health professionals! The University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs' Dean Nisha Botchwey will moderate the panel.

This will be a hybrid event. We hope to see you in person!
