ALL Minnesotans belong in safe and healthy HOMES!

The historic $1 billion housing budget passed by the Minnesota legislature in 2023 was a great start, but Minnesotans deserve sustained investment in affordable housing and equitable housing policies.

We're calling on our leaders to #startwithhome.

Start with Home Rally Goals:

1. Demonstrate and increase the power and unity of the affordable housing coalition by engaging organizations from diverse advocacy spheres.
2. Articulate clearly that the lack of secure, dignified, and affordable housing: 
   1. perpetuates historic inequities and wealth disparities for BIPOC communities,
      
   2. fosters the exploitation of Minnesota’s most marginalized households,
      
   3. intensifies statewide public health challenges, and
      
   4. presents a serious obstacle to economic growth in Minnesota.
      
3. Urge legislators and state leaders to remove obstacles and provide resources so every Minnesotan has a home.
