Yasamin Graff is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health in Community Health Promotion and a minor in Health Equity. After graduating, she worked for the Minnesota Department of Health and provided COVID-19 public health information to Minnesotans, their families, and businesses. Yasamin is currently a Community Engagement Specialist for the Program in Health Disparities Research and the Community Engagement Core for the Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion Across Minnesota (C2DREAM).

Tarissa J. Host is a University of Minnesota graduate with a B.A. in Biology, Society & Environment and a minor in Public Health. Motivated by her upbringing in a rural, medically underserved farming community, she is committed to community health and advancing health equity. In her current role with the Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion Across Minnesota (C2DREAM), she supports early-stage investigators in implementing community-engaged research projects focused on BIPOC, im/migrant, and refugee communities. Currently, Tarissa serves as the Secretary for the MPHA Governing Council, contributes as a member of the University of Minnesota Senate Governance Social Concerns Committee, and consults for the Governor's Task Force on Academic Health.

In addition, there will be time for networking, sharing and discussion on topics of interest to participants; opportunity to share about your work, ask for assistance, brainstorm, or discuss questions of significance.
