As public health professionals and students, we are often told how important it is to do our work in partnership with communities but it can be challenging to figure out what that means and how to do it well, especially when working with communities that you do not share identities with. Join us for a discussion about this important topic and opportunities to learn from others about the skills and best practices they have learned from experience. We'll be joined by Jacorey SkottMyhre, Housing First Program Manager at the Link. Come with questions and wisdom of your own to share, this will be an interactive discussion.

MPHey! is an opportunity for public health professionals and students to build meaningful connections with others in the field, grow their skills and knowledge, and celebrate the expertise and work being done in our communities. Part networking, part peer to peer learning, each session will explore a different topic or area of public health. We’ll always have time for mingling and to also hear from someone with experience in that area.

Snacks will be provided, with the option to purchase beverages. MPHey! is free to MPHA members and $5 for non-members. Registration is required and limited. View MPHA's cancellation and refund policy herePlease contact membership@mpha.net with questions.
