Join us in celebrating National Public Health Week and become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. We're celebrating the power of prevention, advocating for healthy and fair policies, sharing strategies for successful partnerships and championing the role of a strong public health system.

We hope you’re excited to discuss, learn and advocate for and about public health to help us achieve our goal of becoming the healthiest nation in one generation. 

For the second year in a row, U.S. life expectancy has dropped. Turning the tide on this trend will take all of us, which is why we’ve chosen the 2018 theme of:

“Healthiest Nation 2030 – Changing Our Future Together”

For the week, we have identified daily themes to focus a spotlight on areas having the greatest impact on our goal of becoming the healthiest nation in one generation.

Monday – Behavioral Health

Tuesday – Communicable Diseases

Wednesday – Environmental Health

Thursday – Injury and Violence Prevention

Friday – Ensuring the Right to Health
