With a new administration and a highly successful vaccine in the making, panelists will discuss what we can expect in the next few months for health care. As COVID-19 outbreaks are rapidly rising across the country and experts warn of a winter that could be the most deadly phase. The pandemic has created rapid and unprecedented challenges to the United States’ health care system, as well as new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Our expert panel of speakers will explore the path forward and solutions for where we are now. Speakers will discuss:
- What’s next at the federal level COVID-19 response, including vaccine distribution, testing, and the economic response.
- The COVID-19 response at the state level, including policy and plans for reducing transmission and for equitable vaccine distribution.
- Plans for further vaccine development, distribution, and addressing vaccine hesitancy.
- How health plans are planning for 2021 in terms of testing, vaccine distribution, and ensuring continuity of care for members.
