On behalf of St. Paul Ramsey County Public Health’s Birth Equity Community Council (BECC), MPHA members are invited to a screening of the award-winning 2022 documentary AFTERSHOCK.
Following the preventable deaths of loved ones due to childbirth complications, two families galvanize activists, birth-workers and physicians to reckon with one of the most pressing American crises of our time – the US maternal health crisis.
On Wednesday, May 28th at 5:00pm, we welcome MPHA to join us for an abbreviated screening AFTERSHOCK, followed by a community panel, and opportunities to reflect and connect alongside healthcare organizations and providers from across the Twin Cities Metro area.
