Registration is now open for this year’s Many Faces of Community Health conference, taking place October 26-27 at the Hyatt Regency in Bloomington. 

This annual two-day conference explores improving care and reducing health disparities in under-served populations and among those living in poverty. It brings together hundreds of health care professionals, students and others active in community public health to learn about the impact of health care reform and how to advance health equity. 

Conference sessions will address a variety of topics, including: *Smoking cessation 

*Asthma action plans 

*Pediatric dental care 

*Medication assisted therapy for opioid abuse

Hippocrates Cafe, a live show combining performing arts and medicine, will provide this year’s keynote.
